As many of you know I lost my wonderful Uncle Will "Billy Beau" Rush to his 6 year battle with Leukemia. As heart breaking as this was I know that he is in a better place. My goal is to represent him and honor him by completing the 2011 Light The Night Walk: Walk for Leukemia.

Beverly knows my friend Chaunie, I've shoot her before she's the girl on the top of my page lol, soooo she contacted me and let me know she really like the senior shoot I did for her. Only problem is she lived out of town and was only going to be available for 3 hours before she headed back to school. For short notice and a time crunch I think we did pretty darn good. I loved her color choices they really popped in the photos. ENJOY

Jarrell is up and coming rapper from Houston, Tx and

asked me if I would be interested in working with

him on promo video to accompany his mixtape. He was such

a natural in front of the camera and in front of the mic. I really

love what we came up with and I'm really geeked about doing

some more productions in the near future!!

A Spooky 'Spec'tacular

This event had everything you could imagine, a GREAT auction,

Pocahontas, pirates, Heidi, police, a bumble bee, and satan himself lol.

Well not exactly, this Spooky 'Spec'tacular event held

to raise money for free eye examinations and glasses

for uninsured children in the greater

Houston area low-income children.

He a classmate of mine and a member of my organization Sigma Tau Theta, we decided to shoot together a while back just to get both of our portfolios up and this weekend we finally got a chance to hook up.

I saw this barn off in a field the other day driving down the street- I knew it would be perfect. Just so happen to be a fireworks stand still up in the same lot! So I got double the scenery. We had to high knee through the field there were snake holes everywhere!!! lol But no one got bite and the pictures came out really great! I have more stuff coming in the next couple of days sorry I've been awhile SO long promise to do better!!!

I finally got to do a bridal shoot!! (yahhhh) and it truly happened by chance, it was last minute

and spontaneous, which might be why they came out so good lol.

She is a friend of a friend who happened to be in town and decided she wanted

to do a shoot with in her gown. They called me up, I suggested Mercer Arboretum,

set a time and it happened. I really enjoyed shooting her, gave me

a chance to do something a little softer and pretty.

Get this, she is getting married on a beach in Florida next month

(JEALOUS) lol

Buy anyway so happy I got to try something new!

High School Senior Graduation Party!!!

Kendall's mom contacted me and said paid for some photos for her son that was

graduating in a couple of weeks, and now she needed invites made, and she needed them fast because graduation was approaching. She sent me the pics and after reading the statement that she wanted place on the invite

I knew I had to do something with maps or roads

"One journey ends and another begins"

this statement is sooooo true and happens so often, we are always closing

one door and opening another - moving from one season to the next. I love change and try to embrace it as much as possible.

To all the graduates, I know this change my not come with ease but it is all worth it!

I got the opportunity to do a mother daughter shoot this past weekend,

it was a gift from the daughter to her mother. They laughed and

smiled the entire time, since I wasn't able to make it home this year

for mothers day I really enjoyed watching them interact :)

This is the first time I have used this particular location, I think it might

Bri Bunny Alley Shoot

Bri is a great subject to use, she has so much personality and it all comes out

in pictures! We couldn't find location right of the bat so we drove and drove-

then all of a sudden we saw this bright red and blue building, we knew it was perfect!

And it came with a bonus graffiti wall behind! The pics are beautiful

Magan is a student worker in my office, a lot of fun and sooo much energy! When

the flowers started to bloom in the fields close to our office she told

me she wanted to do a shoot before the all died (wildflower season usually

last around a month in a half here in Texas). So we picked a day met up

and got some really nice pics great photos. The day we picked just so happen to

the hottest day we have had all year! I'm so ready for this hot Texas summer pool time is here!!

Oh and I dont have a fav for this shoot cant seem to pick just one lol

Mrs. Cypress Tx came cross my work and contacted me to do her head shoots for the up coming 2010-2011 Mrs. Texas Pageant. It was late notice and we had to rush a little, but the pictures came out lovely! Little Big Brother

This shoot was really fun because it was for my little brother's who just happen to be my most favorite people on earth!! My oldest little brother Jeremy is graduating from high school this May and will be attending UofH! So of course I wanted to do his senior pics, he was a little hesitant at first but he eventually caved to under my constant pressure lol. My youngest brother Josh tagged along for the hell of it it. We hit downtown Dallas, deep ellum and your late grandfathers house in South Dallas. They look great and I'm soooooo grateful that I got to do this for him!!

Chaunie Gay was at the time Ms. Black & Gold at Prairie View A & M University, some of her many duties included holding seminars, public speaking and making general appearances. So of course she needed bio pics! She gave me a call and we made it happen. Being at Prairie View day in and day out, you can forget how truly beautiful it really is, these pictures helped me remember.
